David Marston's Belcour Preserves Jamaican Hot Sauces

The unlikely relationship between Crew Love and Beclour Preserves first started when Nick Monaco, Baby Prince, and Lonely C took a trip down to Jamaica to visit David Marston. There, on their musical retreat, they were introduced to various hot sauces, condiments, and preserves made by David’s Aunt and Uncle at their home in the foothills of Jamaica’s Blue Mountains. Belcour Preserves was started by Robin Lim Lumsden at home in her kitchen; the idea for the company grew out of a desire to create all-natural, Jamaican specialty food products with locally grown ingredients.

The crew members quickly fell in love with the hot sauces, which eventually became staples in their culinary activities. The Crew Love store is now carrying two Beclour Preserves hot sauces that capture, with imagination and care, the diverse, wonderful, and colorful flavors and irie vibes of Jamaica.

Two flavors to choose from:

Honey Mustard: A bold and zesty, all natural pepper sauce from Jamaica, made with roasted scotch bonnets and garlic. For pepper aficionados, this sauce adds a burst of flavor to just about everything. Add to marinades and salad dressing, on sandwiches, seafood, eggs and in soup.

Honey Jerk: Not your average jerk sauce. All natural and made in Jamaica, it's a delicious grilling and pouring sauce with a complex flavor profile; sweet and sour and hot, guaranteed to Jamaicanize anything you are cooking, BBQing or eating.

Both sauces have been tested and approved by David Marston and the crew. Hope you enjoy!
